Black Magic Rs422 Serial Port3/27/2021
Since information seems to be hard to find on this subject, I am hoping gathering info on this thread specifically about these portsfeatures could be of help to someone else as well. That being said, I am uninterested in hearing about third party solutions (no offense).
![]() ![]() Im interested in peoples experience and knowledge on these portsfeatures, be it yes it works or no it doesnt. Funny though- seems to be listed in the new Mini Teranex type converters- XLR 2 input can be timecode in Well see Ive not been across the newest software revisions, so hopefully someone else can pitch in and give you a current position. I do comms over the Studio converter.so I cant comment on that -sorry Cheers Dave. Weve got camera (SDI or hdmi) camera converter (fibre) studio converter (SDI) Atem 1ME Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk. Black Magic Rs422 Serial Port Serial Sony 9Im currently running an ATEM 1 me production 4k Vision Switchers Program Output SDI into the SDI Input of a BMD Decklink 4k Video Card (then capture in Premiere Pro) and would like to use the serial sony 9 pin on the video card (decklink via Deck Control settings in Premiere Pro) to receive a timecode in. Is there a way to utilise RS-422 on the decklink for LTC or other timecode formats from the ATEM Production switcher since we set the recording format from the ATEM Software Control Or is it a case of purchasing a HouseSync Clock such as the Avid Sync HD and have this feed the BMD decklink 4k video card via Sony 9 pin Thanks. After reading your reply it fills me with a little more confidence, until at least im able to physically check everything (after all equipment arrives). The small go-between device (Adrienne AEC-uBox-2) looks like an awesome cost effective solution to get LTC into Decklink video card via RS422. All I gotta do is convince my boss to buy one Ill report back and let you know how it goes Thanks so much for this. For questions about the forum, please contact the forum administrators.
